Marler Automation collects only the details needed to respond to an automation review request: name, business, email, website, problem summary, source and timestamp.

Do not submit passwords, customer records or sensitive files through the form.

BEOS Pinterest integration

Marler Automation, operated by Stuart Marler, is responsible for the BEOS Pinterest integration described here. This integration is being configured to publish and schedule original organic Pins for business accounts whose owners authorise access.

Account information and permissions

When an account owner connects Pinterest, BEOS requests permission to read and manage that account's boards and Pins. The requested permissions are boards:read, boards:write, pins:read and pins:write. These support choosing boards, creating approved boards and Pins, and verifying publication. Connecting an account does not require giving Marler Automation your Pinterest password.

Data handled by the integration

The integration may handle authorised account identifiers, board and Pin identifiers, titles, descriptions, destination URLs, publishing images, publication status and operational error records. Where available and authorised, it may also process performance information to measure content results. OAuth access and refresh credentials enable the approved connection and are not intended for public display.

Purpose and access

Information is used to operate the authorised publishing connection, prevent duplicate publication, resolve errors and measure results. Publishing content is transmitted to Pinterest through its API. BEOS runs on hosted server infrastructure; access to connection credentials and operational records must be restricted to authorised operators. Pinterest separately processes information under its own privacy policy.

Retention, disconnection and deletion

Connection credentials are needed while an authorised connection remains active. Operational records are retained as needed to operate, troubleshoot and evidence the service. Account owners can revoke access through Pinterest's account settings and can request disconnection or deletion of data held by Marler Automation through our contact page. Revoking access does not itself delete Pins already published on Pinterest; these can be managed on Pinterest. Applicable legal recordkeeping obligations may limit deletion of some records.
